Job Overview
SCTIMST is looking for eligible candidates to join as Project Research Scientist I on a temporary basis for the project entitled “The MCI Connectome : Mapping Brain Connectivity to predict dementia conversion risk in subjects with Mild Cognitive Impairment and subjective cognitive decline- blood biomarker-based validation”. The duration of the post is one year or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: First class in MSc Chemistry, Physics, or Biotechnology or integrated PhD.
- Desirable Experience: Experience in the design and development of biosensors.
Job Description
The role involves the application of appropriate chemistry for the design of materials for the development of biosensors, blood sample collection, data collection, machine learning and computer applications, preparing reports, and coordinating the project activities.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years as on 01.03.2026.
- Age Relaxation: Age relaxation upto 5 years shall be granted to candidates having experience of working in Research Government Organisation as per relevant ICMR orders.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a Walk-in Interview. Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of qualifying nature may be conducted for initial screening and only qualified candidates will be called for the interview. Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.
