The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is inviting online applications from dynamic, result-oriented, and dedicated eligible candidates for various contractual positions. These positions are under the “BSU Phase-II” project. RCB is an institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India.
Job Overview
RCB has announced recruitment for the positions of Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), Senior Project Associate, and Project Associate I. These positions will be on a contract basis, initially for a period of one year, which may be extended further based on requirements and performance. All positions under the BSU project will be co-terminus with the project.

Age Limit
Candidates must meet the following minimum age requirements to be eligible for the posts:
- Chief Scientific Officer: Minimum age 45 years
- Senior Project Associate: Minimum age 40 years
- Project Associate I: Minimum age 35 years
- Age relaxation as per GoI norms is available to eligible applicants.

- SC/ST/Women/PwD Candidates: Exempted from payment of fees.
Selection Process
Only candidates shortlisted by a duly constituted Screening Committee will be called for the selection process. The decision of the Centre in this regard will be final. Mere fulfilment of the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for the selection process.
