The Department of Neurosurgery at PGIMER Chandigarh has announced a recruitment notification for the posts of Project Research Scientist-I and Project Research Scientist-II on a purely temporary basis. These positions are for an Extramural Research Project titled “Exploring Circulating Biomarkers for Early Detection and Recurrence Monitoring in Pituitary region tumors” under ICMR.
Job Overview

Selection Process
The selection will be based on a written exam and a personal interview. The written exam will be held on 23th March 2026 at 1:00pm, depending upon the number of candidates. The venue for the exam will be intimated by email. Candidates are then required to appear for a personal interview along with original certificates on 24.03.2026 at 1:00 pm in the Gamma Knife Center, Department of Neurosurgery, PGI, Chandigarh. No separate interview letters will be sent.

- Candidates who have cleared the PGIMER Ph.D entrance exam in Dec 2025 should submit their score card and NOC from their guide/faculty.
- Candidates under any existing project also should submit NOC from their PI.
