Job Overview
NII recruitment notification for 1 post of Consultant and 1 post of Young Professional in the Administration/Finance & Accounts/Scientific Coordination department of Biotechnology Research & Innovation Council (BRIC). Positions are purely on contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria
Consultant
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 10 years of relevant experience in work of General Administration and Establishment in Government or Autonomous Bodies or PSUs etc.
- OR Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 6 years of relevant experience in work of General Administration and Establishment in Government or Autonomous Bodies or PSUs etc.
- OR Ph.D. degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized University
Young Professional
- A Master’s Degree OR B.E / B.Tech / B.Pharm OR PGD in Management with at least 4 years of experience with having minimum 60% marks
- OR Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 10 years of experience with having minimum 60% marks.
- Candidates with experience in the relevant areas of HR, Management or coordination/Management of large scientific project shall be preferred.
Age Limit
- Consultant: Below 55 Years
- Young Professional: Below 40 Years
- Age relaxation considered for applicants with desired experience in relevant area of any DBT AI’s by deducting the time spent in contractual employment from maximum age prescribed.

Important Instructions
- Remuneration: Consultant Rs.80,000/- per month, Young Professional Rs.60,000/- per month.
- Initial engagement for one year, extendable based on performance and requirement.
- Appointment is temporary and full-time; no other assignment permitted.
