These positions are on a contractual basis at its Tripura Campus.
Job Overview
NFSU Tripura Campus is recruiting for the post of Scientific Assistant (DNA). The engagement for this post shall be purely on a contractual basis for a period of 11 (eleven) months. The engagement may be extended further based on satisfactory performance of the candidate and availability of sanctioned posts, subject to approval of the competent authority. Remuneration will be given as per NFSU norms.

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science with relevant subjects in graduation / Biotechnology / Genetics / Molecular Biology / Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Microbiology from any recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification / Experience:
- At least six months’ certificate course in Computer Applications.
- Working experience in any Forensic Science Laboratories/ Institutes after graduation.
- Knowledge of English & Hindi.
Age Limit
The Candidates should not be less than 18 Years and not more than 30 Years. Reservation policy is applicable as per Norms.

Selection Process
The mode of selection will depend on the number of eligible candidates:
- Interview Only (if ≤10 eligible candidates)
- OR Written Test + Interview (if >10 eligible candidates)
