Salary
Monthly fellowships will be provided during the visit based on the researcher’s level:
- Masters student: Rs. 12,400/- per month
- PhD student: Rs. 37,000 to 42,000/- per month
- Post doctoral researcher: Rs. 60,000/- per month
Important Instructions
The duration of the visiting program can range from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 1 year. The visiting fellow/exchange student is required to identify a host supervisor at IISc for the proposed visit. Campus accommodation may be provided to visiting fellows on a payment basis, subject to availability. Eligible researchers may be accepted as visiting fellows under an MoU or otherwise.
