Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical): Not exceeding 40 years on the date of Walk-in-interview / written test. Age relaxation as per rules is applicable.
• Project Technical Support-III: Not exceeding 35 years on the date of Walk-in-interview / written test. Age relaxation as per rules is applicable.

Selection Process

• Eligible candidates will appear for a walk-in-interview / written test.
• A written test may be conducted if there are more than 30 candidates.
• The qualifying marks for the written test are 35% for SC / ST and 40% for UR / OBC / EWS.
• Candidates scoring qualifying marks will be interviewed, generally up to the top 08 for Project Research Scientist-II and top 15 for Project Technical Support-III.
• Final merit will be prepared based on the marks from the written test and interview, or just the interview if no written test is conducted.

• Candidates are required to submit the application form duly filled along with one set of photocopies of all certificates by hand on the date of the walk-in-interview / written test.
• All original certificates (educational qualifications from SSC onwards, SC / ST / OBC / EWS certificate, Experience, Aadhaar Card, PwBD Certificate if applicable, passport size photograph) must be brought for verification.

Important Instructions

• The positions are purely on a temporary basis.
• Candidates who have served in ICMR Projects / ICMR Institutes for more than three years are not eligible.
• The engagement can be terminated with one-month notice from either side.
• Candidates already employed should submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their present Employer / PI.
• Age relaxation is admissible as per Central Government / DoPT / ICMR instructions for various categories and to the extent of service rendered in other research projects.
• Experience will be counted from the date of completion of minimum essential educational qualification.
• No TA / DA will be given for attending the walk-in-interview / written test.
• Electronic gadgets and notes are not allowed inside the Examination Hall / Interview.
