Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be citizens of India to be eligible for this special recruitment drive. This drive is exclusively for Physically Disabled candidates who have a disability of 40% or more. A valid UDID card (yellow or blue) or a certificate issued by a Civil Surgeon/Medical Board of a Government Hospital as per the latest government norms is mandatory.

  • Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET of Gujarat State.
  • Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Specific conditions apply for Ph.D. holders registered before July 11, 2009.
  • Specific qualifications (M.Ed. with 50% etc.) apply for Adhyapak Sahayak positions in Education faculty as per NCTE 2014 norms.
  • Knowledge of the Gujarati language (reading, writing, and speaking) is necessary.

Age Limit
