The Government of Gujarat, recognizing the importance of biotechnology, established the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM). Furthering this vision to build biotechnology-based research and development, the Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC) was established as an independent organization under the Department of Science and Technology. GBRC is inviting applications from interested and deserving candidates for various positions including Project Manager, Research Associate, Project Associate II, Junior Research Fellow, and Lab Technician in specific research projects.

Important Instructions
- The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months, which may be extended after satisfactory performance till the termination of the project.
- There is no provision for re-engagement after the termination of the project.
- The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment, as the fellowship is co-terminus with the project.
- No TA /DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- During the recruitment process, if any additional similar positions arise or new positions are sanctioned, GBRC reserves the right to fill these positions without further advertising. Additionally, GBRC retains the decision to keep a position vacant if a suitable candidate is not available.
