Eligibility Criteria
Post Name: Project Research Scientist-I (Non- Med.) [One Position]
Essential Qualification: First-class Post-Graduate degree (MPharm/MS Pharm) in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognised University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification: Candidate qualified in GPAT/GATE or other national level exam will be preferred.
Stipend: Rs. 56,000/- per month + HRA. HRA will be paid only if Institutional accommodation is not availed/ provided.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
- Relaxation in age limit will be given as per Govt. of India Rules. Age will be reckoned as on the date of the Interview.

Important Instructions
- The engagement will initially be for a period of One Year or until the project duration, whichever is earlier. It may be extended or curtailed depending on the project duration, requirements and the performance/conduct of the incumbent(s). The current duration of the project is upto Three years.
- The tenure of engagement shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances shall the total tenure exceed five years, including engagement in all CSIR labs.
- Performance will be reviewed periodically and unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination without any notice or reason.
- The position(s) are purely temporary and are on behalf of the sponsor and, therefore, not confer any right on the incumbent(s) to any claim, implicit or explicit, for absorption on any post in CSIR-IIIM/CSIR.
- Candidates will have the option to interact in English/Hindi before the Selection Committee.
- Upon selection/empanelment, the original documents, including eligibility qualification, DOB, caste, and age relaxation certificate, will be verified; if any discrepancy is found, the selection/empanelment shall stand cancelled.
- The number of positions may vary depending upon the project requirements at the time of Interview.
- The Director, CSIR-IIIM reserves the right to not to fill any or all advertised positions.
