CSIR-CCMB is recruiting for three Project Associate-I (PAT-I) positions on a temporary and contractual basis. These positions are distributed across different projects and research areas within the institute.

Age Limit
The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation as per CSIR/Govt. of India guidelines. Age will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of online applications.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting by CCMB scientists/designated committee.
- Shortlisted candidates will be displayed on CCMB website.
- Interview in person/online before the Selection Committee. Date, time, and venue will be notified through email only.
- Result will be declared and posted on CCMB website. A panel of waitlisted candidates valid for one year will also be formed.

Important Instructions
- Those candidates who are still pursuing/ awaiting result for their degree M.Sc./ B.Tech./ PhD or any other qualification for the above post(s) as on the date of application will not be considered.
- Non-fulfillment of the eligibility criterion will result in cancellation of candidature at any stage.
- The period of experience shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications.
- Engagement is initially for a short duration which may be extended or curtailed based on the conduct and performance as well as requirement of the institute.
- Engagement will not be beyond the tenure of the project and shall expire automatically on the expiry of project tenure.
- The engagement under projects does not confer any right/claim for regular appointment in CSIR/CCMB.
- The engagement of project staff in different projects taken together shall not exceed 5 years in any case.
- Incumbent is entitled to one-day Leave for each completed month.
- No TA/ DA admissible for attending test/interview, joining the position.
- Working hours are from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on working days. May be required to work on Saturday/Sunday/other Gazetted holidays and beyond working hours also if need be.
- Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of the data collected and deliverables produced shall remain with the office.
- Engagement may be terminated by giving a one month notice from either side.
- Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification.
