
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Project Manager (Equivalent to Project Associate I) on a Wellcome Trust project. The appointment is purely temporary for 11 months, extendable based on performance and funding, at the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria
M.Tech/ M.Sc./ M.Pharm/ BS-MS/B.Tech/BE in any branch of life sciences/biotechnology or related disciplines with CGPA>7 (>70%) from a recognized university/institute. Qualification for National Eligibility Tests – CSIR/UGC NET (including lectureship), GATE, DBT, ICMR is not mandatory.
Remuneration
INR 37,000/- + 27% HRA for CSIR/UGC NET Qualified candidates; otherwise, INR 30,000/- + 27% HRA.
Essential Experience
Candidates with one year or more prior research experience in mental health (specifically bipolar disorder), circadian biology and sleep research, clinical projects involving human subjects, mass-spectrometry-based metabolomics, or molecular biology techniques such as RT-PCR, Western blotting will be given preference.
Age Limit
Not more than 28 years as on the last day of application, with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC as per standard government norms.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic records and relevant work experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified via email about the online interview. The PI reserves the right to leave the position vacant if no suitable candidate is found.
