The Centre of Bio-Medical Research (CBMR) Lucknow has invited applications from exceptionally bright and motivated candidates for recruitment to the position of 02 Research Associates on a temporary, ad-hoc basis.
Job Overview
CBMR Lucknow is a research institute dedicated to disease-oriented-research and translating discoveries from the laboratory into new diagnosis and therapies. This recruitment is for two Research Associate posts in different departments, each for a maximum tenure of 03 years, subject to yearly evaluation.

Eligibility Criteria
The essential qualification for both posts is a PhD (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biomedical Engineering/Biology/Physics/Biotechnology/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Life Sciences (Degree Awarded)/MD/ MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/ M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Age Limit
The upper age limit shall be 35 years as on 01.01.2026. Age relaxation is permissible for SC/ST candidates up to 05 years and for OBC candidates up to 03 years, applicable as per rules for the domicile of Uttar Pradesh.

Selection Process
Selection will be made through an interview. Candidates will be called for interview after screening based on criteria adopted by CBMR. The assessment of academic record and published/project work will be tested by a discipline-wise high-level expert committee.
Stipend
The fixed consolidated stipend for Research Associates will be as follows:
- 1st Year: Rs. 47,000/- per month
- 2nd Year: Rs. 49,000/- per month
- 3rd Year: Rs. 54,000/- per month
