Eligibility Criteria

- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or Inorganic Chemistry or Physiology of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years’ teaching/research experience.
- Desirable: Doctorate degree in any one of the subjects of essential qualification mentioned above.
- Emoluments: Consolidated salary not exceeding Rs.1,00,000/- per month. No other allowances are admissible.
Age Limit
The age limit is up to 40 years as on the date of interview. Age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates up to 5 years, up to 3 years for OBC candidates, and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates. Age relaxation is also applicable for Govt. servants up to 5 years in accordance with extant rules.
Application Fee
- For General/ EWS/ OBC categories: Rs. 500/-
- For SC/ST categories: Rs. 300/-
- For Women and PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): Rs. NIL
- Fee may be paid online through Bharat Kosh (bharatkosh.gov.in) or by Demand Draft in Favour of “Director AIIH&PH Kolkata” payable at Kolkata. Application fee is non-refundable.
Selection Process
The method of selection is through a Walk-in Interview. Following registration, there will be scrutiny of the applications, succeeded by the interview of eligible candidates.
How to Apply
- Candidates must register themselves for the interview from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on the day of the Walk-in-Interview at the designated venue. No registration will be entertained after 11.30 a.m.
- The duly filled and signed original application form must be produced at the time of registration.
- Candidates must bring one (1) set of self-attested photocopies of Degrees, Certificates, Mark Sheets, Age proof, Caste certificate, experience certificates, PwBD certificate, EWS certificate, etc., as applicable.
- All original documents must also be produced for verification at the time of the Walk-in Interview.
- Applicants working in Central /State Govt. /Semi Govt./Autonomous Institution must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” (NOC) from the Employer at the time of screening/interview.

Important Instructions
- Age and other qualifications/Experience will be counted as on the date of interview.
- Incomplete applications or applications received without proof of fee payment will be REJECTED.
- Selected candidates have to perform duties as assigned by Director, AIIH&PH, Kolkata.
- Provisionally selected candidates must get themselves declared medically fit by a government medical board not below District level before joining.
- The entire process of joining, including medical fitness, must be completed within 30 days of declaration of results.
- If an appointee wishes to apply somewhere else or resign within the first three (03) months of joining, no NOC or Relieving Letter/ Experience Certificate will be issued.
- The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc.
- No travelling or other allowances will be paid for attending the interview and joining the post.
- A maximum of 30 days will be given to join the post after declaration of results.
