National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for one temporary position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical). The engagement is purely temporary under an ICMR sponsored project entitled "Regenerating Compressed nerves using Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Collagen Scaffold via Tunneling Nanotube-Mediated Mitochondrial Transfer" (GP-496) under the supervision of Dr. Ashutosh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, NIPER-SAS Nagar.
Job Overview
NIPER SAS Nagar is looking for a Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) on a purely temporary basis initially for one year, extendable yearly based on satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years, co-terminus with the project duration. The selected candidate will be allowed to register for the Ph.D. programme as per Institute rules.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: First class M.S. (Pharm.) / M.Pharm. / M.Tech. (Pharm.) or equivalent degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology/Pharmacology/ Biotechnology or equivalent branch.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in the area of Pharmacology and Toxicology / Animal Experimentation and In vitro experience shall be given preference.
Fellowship: Rs. 56,000/-p.m. + HRA, as admissible.
Age Limit
Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD is as per GoI rules upon attaching valid proof.

Selection Process
The process of selection may include presentation / seminar / interview or any other process as decided by the competent authority. Interviews will be held in person/hybrid mode at NIPER-SAS Nagar and only shortlisted candidates will be called via email.
