Job Overview

- Post code 6 (Project Associate-I): MSc. in Microbiology.
- Post code 7 (Project Associate-I): M.Sc. Chemistry / Environmental Science.
- Post code 8 (Project Associate-I): B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical / Petrochemical Engg.
- Post code 9 (Project Associate-I): M.Pharma / Ms. Pharma M.Sc / Integrated M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry / Agriculture Chemistry.
Additionally, desirable qualifications are specified for each position. Candidates without any prescribed documents will not be allowed for the interview. Non-submission of essential documents will entail forfeiture of candidature.
Age Limit
The upper age limit, reckoned as on the date of interview, is as follows:
- 40 years for Post codes 1, 2, and 3.
- 35 years for Post codes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
Age limits are relaxable for candidates of statutory groups (SC/ST/OBC/Women) and PwBD candidates as per Govt. of India/CSIR instructions.
Selection Process
The selection will be on the basis of interview, and a skill test will be conducted for suitable posts, if applicable.

Important Instructions
- Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the date of Interview.
- Only those candidates who have acquired the Essential Qualification & result has been declared (should have at least a provisional certificate) are eligible to appear in the Walk-In-Interview.
- Result awaited/ Final semester appeared candidates are NOT ELIGIBLE to appear in the Walk-In-Interview for the position where such minimum Essential Qualification requirement is mandatory.
- The period of experience in a discipline / area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications for that position.
