Boğaziçi University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a multidisciplinary research program focused on AI-driven drug discovery and chemical biology. The position is based in the Department of Chemistry in Istanbul, Türkiye. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing machine-learning–identified targets and small-molecule hits toward validated chemical probes and early lead compounds.
Job Overview
The lab integrates machine learning, structural biology, chemical proteomics, and biophysical assays to identify and characterize novel drug-binding sites across challenging protein targets. The postdoctoral researcher will play a central role in translating computational predictions into experimentally validated molecules and targets through iterative design–make–test cycles. The lab is currently establishing new capabilities in chemical biology and protein target validation, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape early-stage research directions.
