District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Bankura will engage personnel for the position of Pharmacist under National Health Mission, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal purely on a contractual basis against subsequent / consequential vacancies. Eligible candidates who are permanent residents of West Bengal are invited to apply online.

Job Overview

DHFWS Bankura is hiring for the post of Pharmacist under the NUHM programme. There is 01 vacancy categorized for SC candidates. The consolidated remuneration for this position is Rs. 22,000/-.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a two-year diploma in pharmacy (D-Pharma) (ALLOPATHIC) recognised by the Government of West Bengal and be a registered “A” category pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council. Weightage will be given for higher qualifications.
  • Other Requirements: The applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal. Candidates must have proficiency in Bengali and knowledge of local languages. Efficiency in computers, including MS Office and Internet, is required.

Age Limit

The age limit for applicants is 20-40 Years. Existing employees working in the same position applying for revised entry point remuneration will be given five (5) years relaxation of age from the date mentioned in the recruitment notification.

Application Fee

Application fees must be deposited through on-line mode only. The amount is non-refundable. Please do not deposit the fee more than one time.

  • UR Candidates: Rs. 100/-
  • Reserved Category Candidates: Rs. 50/-

Selection Process

The selection criteria include academic marking and a computer test.

  • Total Academic: 85 marks (Proportionate marking: D-Pharma-65, B-Pharma-75, M-Pharma-85)
  • Computer Test: 15 marks (Qualifying marks-Minimum 50%)

How to Apply

Eligible candidates should apply online in the prescribed format given on the department’s website during the specified application dates. Only online applications will be accepted. Hard copy/print copy of the online registration form should be downloaded from the link hr.wbhealth.gov.in and retained by applicants for document verification purposes. There is no need to send the hard copy by post.

  • If proper signature and photograph are not uploaded at the time of online application, the application shall be liable to be cancelled.
  • All essential qualifications, including Registration of the respective council from West Bengal, must be completed on or before the first date of online application.
  • Experience will be calculated after obtaining the required essential academic qualification till the first date of online application.
  • Caste Certificate issued on or before the first date of online application by the competent authorities of West Bengal only will be accepted. In the case of OBC candidates, Category ‘A’ must be mentioned specifically.
  • On-line registration No. should be retained by all applicants for future reference.
